Terms of Service

Last updated July 1, 2026

These terms cover the current Meowlyn Bots deposit, order-intake, and client portal flow. Project-specific written terms, quotes, or invoices control if they expressly conflict with this page.

Using this site

These Terms of Service apply when you visit this website, pay a deposit, submit a custom Discord bot order, or use the client order portal. By using the site, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy.

Meowlyn Bots may update these terms as the service changes. The terms posted on this page apply to site use after they are published, while any signed or written project agreement controls if it conflicts with this page.

Deposits, quotes, and project scope

The $100 custom bot deposit is non-refundable and is credited toward the final custom bot project. Paying the deposit unlocks the order form and reserves time to review the submitted requirements.

A completed order form does not guarantee that every requested feature is included in the final quote. Final scope, timeline, hosting, maintenance, ownership details, support, and remaining balance are confirmed after review.

Requested changes outside the confirmed scope may require a revised quote, additional payment, or a new timeline before work continues.

Client responsibilities

You are responsible for providing accurate contact details, Discord IDs, server requirements, permission boundaries, and timely review feedback.

Do not submit bot tokens, passwords, private API keys, payment card numbers, or other secrets through this website. Meowlyn Bots creates and manages the bot application unless a different setup is agreed separately.

You must have authority to request work for the Discord server, content, workflows, roles, channels, branding, and third-party services included in your order.

Acceptable use

You may not use this site or request bot features for unlawful activity, harassment, spam, credential theft, malware, unauthorized scraping, evading platform rules, or handling sensitive regulated data unless that handling is expressly agreed in writing.

Custom Discord bot work must comply with Discord's applicable terms, developer rules, and community safety requirements. Requests that appear unsafe, abusive, or platform-violating may be declined.

Third-party services

Discord, Stripe, email providers, hosting providers, and other third-party services are operated by their own providers. Their availability, policy changes, account actions, fees, and outages are outside Meowlyn Bots' control.

Payments are processed by Stripe. This site does not store raw payment card numbers, and Stripe's own legal terms may also apply to payment processing.

Ownership and licenses

You keep ownership of materials you provide, such as server names, logos, copy, requirements, and configuration details, and you grant Meowlyn Bots permission to use them as needed to review, build, test, deliver, and support your project.

Meowlyn Bots keeps ownership of pre-existing tools, templates, internal workflows, reusable code, documentation, and know-how unless a written agreement says otherwise.

After the agreed project balance is paid, you receive the agreed license or access rights to use the delivered bot for the server or purpose described in the final project scope. Source code delivery, redistribution rights, resale rights, and transfer rights are included only when stated in writing.

Availability and warranty disclaimer

The website, order portal, and delivered bot work are provided as-is to the fullest extent permitted by law, except for any specific written commitments included in the final project scope.

Meowlyn Bots does not promise uninterrupted site access, error-free integrations, Discord API availability, Stripe availability, or that every requested feature will be approved or technically possible.

Liability and cancellations

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Meowlyn Bots is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, platform enforcement, or third-party service outages.

Meowlyn Bots may pause or cancel a project if required information is not provided, payment is not completed, the requested work becomes unsafe or non-compliant, or the client relationship becomes abusive or impractical to continue.
